And, ReFinery carries fun and funky objects for the home.

ReFinery is a consignment store, and offers individuals wishing to sell merchandise a sales venue in Richmond, Virginia.

CONSIGNMENT CONTRACT GUIDELINES AND CONDITIONS :

Merchandise is accepted by appointment Tuesday through Friday, unless special arrangements are made. For an appointment, call 804-266-8424.

Items that are seasonal will be received as follows: Spring items will be taken February to April; Summer items will be taken May to July; Fall items will be taken August to October; and Winter items will be taken November to January. Non-seasonal items will be accepted year round. Acceptance is conditional on available space, and ReFinery reserves the right to change its schedule to meet market opportunities and seasonal transition.

ReFinery aims to provide value to its customers—desirable apparel and accessories at reasonable prices. To maintain its quality commitment, ReFinery may decline to accept items presented for consignment. Merchandise must be in excellent condition: clothing that is clean; pressed; with no holes, stains, tears, missing buttons, worn cuffs, etc.; and presented on non-returnable hangers. Shoes and other accessories also must not show signs of significant wear or damage. Items that are found to have flaws or defects after accepted for consignment may be recycled or sold at a discount. Please inspect items carefully before presenting them for consignment.

The consignment contract period is 60 days and begins the day items are entered into inventory and presented for sale. Upon acceptance for consignment, each item is tracked by consignor identification number and contract period expiration date. At consignor request, ReFinery will prepare a receipt of consigned items and expiration date that can be picked up by or emailed to consignor.

The sales price of consigned items will be set by ReFinery at the time of consignment. At ReFinery's discretion, generally, items will remain at full price for 30 days, and markdowns taken during the remaining 30 days. In addition, ReFinery may hold periodic sales of out-of-season and clearance merchandise and any merchandise in stock is subject to these sales.

ReFinery and consignors will each receive 50 percent of the actual sales price for items sold during the 60-day consignment contract period.

At the end of the 60-day consignment contract period, consignors will have seven days to reclaim unsold items. ReFinery will not contact consignors to advise them of consignment contract period expiration. It is the consignor's responsibility to keep up with dates, and to make an appointment to return within seven days after consignment contract period expiration to reclaim unsold items, if so desired. After seven days following contract expiration, the merchandise becomes the property of ReFinery.

Upon request, checks will be prepared and available for pick-up by appointment on or after the 10 th of each month for sales in the prior month. Consignor may use total or partial balance due towards purchase of store merchandise. Consignors are responsible for stop payment fees on ReFinery checks paid out that are lost or stolen once in consignor's possession.

ReFinery will show respect and care for consigned items, but is not responsible for damage or loss due to theft, fire, water, vandalism, negligent handling by customers, or other adverse events.
